Alphaweld is committed to the requirements and continual improvement of our Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental systems and to comply with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001, BS EN ISO 1090 & BS EN ISO 3834-2.
Alphaweld has a full Health and Safety management system. This involves continuing monitoring and reviewing our compliance on a regular basis. Alphaweld prides itself in its commitment to Health & Safety and Training.
We recognise that the quality of our products, our health and safety status and our impact on the environment depends on the everyday actions of those in Alphawelds employment, and so are committed to developing our personnel’s skills through training and mentoring in both their professional and vocational interests.
We carry out Risk Assessments for all our activities and from these produce a detailed Method Statement for every operation we do. For lifting operations involving cranes we have CPCS Appointed Persons that produce detailed lift plans and Lift Supervisors that oversee the lifting operation.
All our employees carry out a two day passport to safety training course. We also have two yearly Health Screening on all our employees covering hand arm vibration spirometry and audio category,
